The Key West atmosphere is amazing. The lead bartender, Zak, has a background in biochemistry, which makes for some awesome signature cocktails. They also have a Fuzzies Burgers food truck out back that you can order from and eat while you're there.

What to get here
The queso fundido is to die for and the taco selection is great. You can't go wrong with a classic margarita or mezcal cocktail -- I'd suggest going for HH.
Why to go here
All of the food and drink are authentic and outstanding. The atmosphere ties it all together. Plus, there's a great speakeasy, WC Harlan, down the street for while you're waiting on your table.

This place is for local seafood lovers. The Baltimore Crab Cake is a Maryland staple and you cannot miss the New England Lobster Roll.

Baltimore is known for its seafood and (in my opinion) this is one of the best seafood restaurants in the city. This place is a must.

All of their cocktails are great, so it's hard to go wrong. I would go with whatever suits your fancy.
Why to go here
Possibly the best cocktail bar in the city... this place is a hidden gem. Few bars have as large of a selection of cocktails as this one. No one else has the variety and selection of gin as Dutch Courage does.

What to get here
Try whatever stands out to you, but the highlights for me are the croquettes, the marinated manchego, and the beef empanadas all paired with a bottle of Rioja.

La Cuchara is a unique spot that allows you to try many different dishes in a tapas style. I love this spot because you can try a little bit of everything without breaking the bank. Plus, the atmosphere is 10/10.

What to get here
Their menu is like that of a storybook and offers a creative array of cocktails. My personal favorites are their Old Fashioned riffs. If you're looking for a bite here, the burger is an easy go to.
Why to go here
Bluebird is such a cool space and is probably my favorite atmosphere as far as bars go in the city. It's in the heart of Hampden with two sister properties right below, including a whiskey pub and another bar called The Green Room, which hosts live events.

What to get here
If you can make it on a Thursday, they have a Wagyu burger that is amazing. Otherwise, their chef does an amazing job with the rest of their menu as well and their cocktail menu is incredible.
Why to go here
This place is a hidden neighborhood gem in the heart of Bolton Hill. It has an inviting atmosphere with amazing staff that give it a personalized experience.

What to get here
The Blind Tiger is my signature cocktail, so I have to recommend it. The Grand Lasalle would be my other cocktail recommendation and if you're a bourbon fan, they have over 300 bourbons to sample and try. Aside from that, all the food is outstanding.
Why to go here
The Bygone offers the best view of Baltimore, located on the 29th floor of The Four Seasons Hotel. If you stop by on a Friday evening, you may even get me as your bartender at the bar.

What to get here
Their seafood is awesome, I love their crab cake sandwich as well as their fresh fish! They have a great happy hour where you can get wings and steamed shrimp for a great deal.

There is no better place to eat authentic Baltimore seafood than on the water at Nick's! You can order crabs and eat outdoors on the water while enjoying great service and great company!

What to get here
This is the perfect lunch spot, or if you are just craving some world-class pit beef. I don't need to tell you what to get here, you already know. Do yourself a favor and pick up a sandwich asap. Also, don't forget to add extra sauce!
Why to go here
This place has world-famous pit beef, even Guy Fieri enjoys stopping by. They have won numerous awards and are another staple in Baltimore food!

What to get here
They are famous for their crabcakes, and they did not disappoint. These are not just any tiny crabcakes; they are jumbo and provide a healthy serving. Any of their crab dishes are a good bet here, along with their wings. Their cocktail menu also impressed me and is worth a try!
Why to go here
Kocos Pub is a great family-owned restaurant that has been open since 1985. It is inside an older row home building and has classic Baltimore charm. Think friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant, and that's Koco’s.

The pan-seared duck breast, as well as the crispy brussel sprouts, are amazing, along with the burger as well!
Why to go here
Maggie's Farm is a great spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner. They have an eclectic menu that is always changing, and a small, intimate atmosphere with great hospitality and service. Don't be afraid to try things you normally wouldn't.

They have an amazing wine selection. Personally, I tried their very own branded wine, and it was lovely. I also went with the duck as my entree, and it was delicious. The chocolate mousse dessert was to die for!

This French restaurant is a classy spot for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself. It’s an authentic French experience that has a lively atmosphere as it’s always busy.

The Chef's are adventurous and its fun to try food you don't get to try too often. I enjoyed the beef tartar as a starter and I would encourage you to try something new here.
Why to go here
A fine dining restaurant serving elevated dishes with great service and atmosphere. This spot is perfect for date night or a special occasion.

What to get here
They specialize in European style beers with their own twist. They really are one of Baltimore's great breweries. As an added bonus they have great food as well. Definitely try their wings, my wife loves them.

They have a great cocktail selection and the atmosphere inside is cozy and ambient. If you are going on a busy night consider reservations to secure your seat. Also if you want a rooftop view in Mount Vernon be sure to check out Topside which is in the same hotel.
Why to go here
B side is one of Baltimore's hidden speakeasy bars with a super cool entrance. All you have to do is put a coin in the jukebox and a secret door will open and allow you into the bar

What to get here
All of their food is made fresh and delicious. They have great pizza, meatball subs, arancini and a great selection of pastries and treats. Its a great spot for a specialty coffee or tea drink. Their London Fog was great! Also check out their refreshing Italian Soda.
Why to go here
Its a small Italian spot with an authentic feel and great food that matches the vibe. Perfect for a lunch break or if you want to treat yourself. If you have not been here I highly recommend stopping by.
